END OF2024/2025

ACADEMIC SESSION NEWS LETTER AWORD OF APPRECIATION

All thanks to God for validating and re-validating our place at thet opmost top.He has
been the only one flourishing our growth process and through him and by him,we have
grown bigger, richer and in no time we are becoming the biggest, richest and the most
sought-after bastion of knowledge. Suffice it to say that heaven’s grace was the magic
and that implanted in us the superior mindsets to carve out new frontiers thus,making us
a leading force to reckon with.While we baskin the sunshine and full of the joy of spring,
we have ended another session with a vista of renewed hope and an upbeat forecast for the
new academic session.
In the same breath, we express towering gratitude to you our esteemed
parents/guardians for identifying and sticking with us throughout the duration of the
session.We embrace with deep thanks your thoughtful and timely suggestions and entirely
acquiesce in all the observations you have relayed to us.We appreciate the forthrightness
of your stand points and considered them eminently credible in helping us chart a realistic
course of action for the new session.To this end,we say merci beacoup, nagode, daalo,
eṣeun púpọ!

ACTIVITIES IN THE JUST CONCLUDED TERM.

We pride our selves to point out that all the activities scheduled for the just concluded
term were successfully carried out.These activities and the benefits they have engendered
include:

* Colour Day Event:-this was organized to enable learners appreciate the significance
of colours and their appropriate combinations and usage.

* Debate,Mathematics & Science Competitions:-learners were made to participate in
the competition to broaden their horizon and instill in them the receptive attitude
towards learning thus,giving the manedge over others.

CLOSING AND RESUMPTION DATES

The third term in the 2024/2025 academic session closes on Friday,25th July 2025.
First term begins on Monday,8th September 2025.Our scholars are expected back in school on
this day as academic activities commence same day.

ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT TERM.

Below are the activities slated for first term in the 2025/2026
academic session:

* Early Morning Nigerian and French Languages Drills
* Inter–class Science & Math Competitions
* Visit to Orphanage Homes/Fruit Day
* Parents/Teachers Development Association (PTDA) Meeting
* External Competitions
* Open Day
* Cultural Day

Kindly also note that dates and time for these activities shall be communicated to you as
we progress in the new term.

SUMMER HOLIDAY LESSON.

The Academy will involve learners in lesson and vocational trainings during the upcoming
summer lesson. The activities slated during this summer include:

* Computer/Coding classes
* French classes
* Entrepreneurial classes
* Classroom activities

COMMENCEMENT OF THE COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATIONS(CBE)FOR ALL TERMLY
EXAMINATIONS.

Intandem with the recent introduction of the Computer Based Examinations(CBE)
model for all external examinations by the Federal Government, the Academy has
commenced the use of computer systems for all our termly examinations from the
upper primary to the senior secondary as away of exposing and making them get used
to this new model be fore their external examinations in 2026.The benefits of the CBE
model are in numerable.Amongst them are:

* Encouraging the learners to work independently in the exam hall thus, curbing
the incidence of examination malpractice.
* Promoting efficiency & effectiveness in setting examination questions and
compilation of results thus,making the process timely and error-free.
* Boosting learners’enthusiasm for ICT related subjects.
* Building learners’confidence on the use of the computer systems in taking
any examinations.

As the Computer Based Examinations becomes fully operational for the 2026 external
examinations,we enjoined our esteemed parents and guardians to continue to keep
faith and trust us to deliver.Moving forward, the Academy has commenced the expansion
of the CBT halls in order to make room for UTME and CBE users.

TRANSMISSION OF TERMLY ACADEMIC RESULTS.

In the transmission of termly academic results, the Academy has moved from issuing
printed copies to transmitting results online.The Academy had experimented the online
transmission of results via parents’ email addresses but with the introduction of the
Computer Based Examinations, learners’ results now domicile in the exams/results
portal and parents can from now access their children’s results via the use of scratch
cards. Kindly note that results will no longer be transmitted via WhatsApp or Email.
We must understand that this innovation comes at a cost and as such payments and the
use of the scratch cards will take effect from this third term that ended on 25th July 2025.

DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN EUROPEAN LANGUAGES AND THE TEACHING AND
USE OF NIGERIAN MOTHER-TONGUES.

While we make efforts to deepen th use of some Europeanlanguages in the Academy,
we equally drill and encourage learners to speak and write some Nigerian languages
such as Edo,Hausa, Idoma, Igala, Igbo,and Yorùbá languages.These our multi-lingual
learners make presentations on various topics at the morning General Assembly one very Thursdays.
The Academy stands to be the first institution in Nigeria to openly encourage the teaching
and use of Nigerian Mother-Tongues as part of her curriculum.The Academy will addEfik
and other Nigerian Mother-Tongues as more teachers with fluency in these area are
employed.

EXTERNALEXAMINATIONSFOR2025.

* WESTAFRICANSENIORSECONDARYSCHOOLCERTIFICATEEXAMINATIONS.
The Academy registered and presented two hundred(200)candidates for the 2025 West
African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).We are therefore
confident that our candidates will hit a homerun.

* NATIONALEXAMINATIONCOUNCIL(NEC0)
The Academy registered and presented one hundred & fifty (150) candidates for the
2025 National Examination Council(NEC0).

* FCT/ERCBASICEDUCATIONCERTIFICATEEXAMINATIONS(BECE)

The Academy registered and presented twenty-seven (27) candidates for the 2025
FCT/ERCBasicEducationCertificateExaminations(BECE).

With the above strides,we are confident that our candidates will hit a homerun in all of
these external examinations.

ACADEMICS.

As we engage in avalid pursuit for distinction in the new term,we are consciously
rekindlingour resolve to securing a firm foundation for our learners so as to enable them
stand secured years to come. We are doing every thing morally and justly permissible to
instill high sense of responsibility in our scholars with a view to making them worldclass
citizens, leaders and achievers in any chosen field.To this end,while we give the best to the
learners with in the hours they are with us,we also want you,our parents/guardians not to
shy away from your own responsibilities in ensuring that the Academy achieve the above
objective.

Below are the ways you can collaborate with us in ensuring the best academic
performances for your child/ward:

* ensure that your child/ward does his/her home fun.The school will not take it lightly
with any learner who fails to do his/her home fun.The take home assignments form part
of their continuous assessment for the term.

* ensure that your child/ward is punctual to school so as not tomissmorning
devotions,classes/lessons especially the early morning French language drills.

* provide your child/ward with a flexible personal reading time table at home and
ensure that this is adhered to religiously.This will help to instill there adding
culture in our scholars.We recommend this for your child/ward in the upper primary and
in the secondary sections.

* register your child/ward for the external academic competitions and encourage them
to participate. This will help in broadening their horizons and instill in them the
receptive attitude towards learning thus,giving the manedge over others.

EXPECTATIONS FROM SCHOLARS FOR NEXT TERM
This is to acquaint you with what we expect from all learners as they resume for the new
term.We also urge you to assist your child/ward in doing what is expected of them so as to
enable us make progress in every aspect. These are outlined below:

* Learners are expected in school on or before 7:30am daily.Lateness to school is not
tolerated.

* Learners are to continue to demonstrate unremitting attitude towards learning.

* Learners are expected to always put on the official school uniforms as anyone who
defaults in this regard will not be allowed into the school premises.Thus,wearing
"crazy jeans"constitutes indecent dressing and scholars in such outfit will be barred
from entering the school.

*Learners are duty bound to write/carry out all assignments,projects or practicals and
to submit same for assessment and record purposes.

* Learners are to use school's properties in away that will not result in the destruction
or damage of these properties. Scholars will be liable for the destruction of any
school property.

* Learners are to participate in all academic and extra curricular activities.

* Learners must not be seen loitering outside the classroom.The only time learners
area llowed outside is their break period.

* Learners must not be seen or heard using vulgar/insulting words.

* Learners must report any health condition first to their class teachers while in school
and not to wait till they get home be for emaking it known to their parents/guardians.

* Female scholars are not to resume with beads and attachments on their hairs.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEE AND OTHER FEES PAYABLE

We appreciate God who has always enabled you financially in fulfilling your obligation
with regards to the payment of fees for your child/ward. We continue to pray for financial
abundance for you so as to continue to meet the academic needs of your child/ward as at
when due in the new session.

We also want to state that payment of fees should be timely for smooth administration.

All payments should be made,well ahead of resumption,as indicated below:

** Payment for Tuition:
This should be the first payment in order to allow your child/wardenter into his/her
class for learning.

Kindly take this advice seriously to avoid barring learners from entering classes and
to save everyone from embarrassment.

HEALTH
At Rosa Mystica Academy,we do not take the health of ourscholars with levity as we
consciously pay particular attention as regards their health.We believe that every child
looks up to us when they are faced with challenges in their health. In light of the above,
we kindly urge you to also take cognisance of the followings:

* Your child/ward that are notfeeling too well should not be brought to school.

* Adequate care and treatments should be given to your child/ward and to resume
school when he/she is medically fit.

* Ensure that the school is aware of the drug(s)to which your hild/ward is allergic.

* No drug should be administered to your child/ward withouta doctor's prescriptions.

* The in take of softdrinks or any other drink with high sugar level by your child/ward
should be minimal. We recommend fruits or fruit drinks prepared by you as part of
the edible items scholars come to school with.

* Submission of toiletries is compulsory for all learners.Toiletries include toilet soap,
tissue papers,detergents and dettol.
